My work has been driven by both architectural and surrealist ideas. The aesthetics and purity of a place is always strengthened by the chance occurrence of its events.
Once a word is spoken, or once photo is taken, it no longer exists in the imagination of the past. It keeps reminding us of the past. It strengthens our sense of place and adds to our memory and overall experience.

Every series is an investigation of the ordinary things we take for granted. A home, a tree, a small family owned grocery store are all transformed when images are taken over a long period of time and then edited to expose its true nature.
The medium , camera, or print types are all chosen in order to strengthen each individual project. Some projects take years to complete. Some are commissions or documentary series that take planning and preparation.
